No kidding.
Warning : I ship Romione so don't be offended if you don't agree with my opinion. Haters please back off.
Now let me get started.
Rolls up sleeves
ROMIONE.
The reason Romione is so great is because it's such a healthy relationship. Yes they fight. Yes Ron is a jerk sometimes. Yes Hermione is narrow minded sometimes. But they still love each other! Every relationship has to go through hardships and Romione is a perfect example of that. Plus! We all know they wouldn't be Ron and Hermione if they didn't fight over silly and petty things!
Reason number two! They balance each other out. Ron helps Hermione lighten up by cracking a joke or two, and Hermione makes sure Ron does his homework. Opposites attract! We all know that Ron wouldn't get through the school year without Hermione's help. Just like Hermione would read a book all day if it wasn't for Ron. (Not saying that's a bad idea.)
Reason number three! This is the last reason! True love! I bet you're thinking : duh! But it's a legit reason. True love means that you accept the other person for what they are and you still love them. For example, Ron doesn't care that Hermione is a know-it-all, and that she isn't the prettiest girl in the world. He still loves her. Hermione doesn't care that Ron could probably eat his way through five plates of food. (Ahh. Chickron!) Or that he's totally obsessed with Quidditch. She still loves him. It wasn't love at first sight either. More like the opposite actually. But look at what happened in the end!
Bonus! The fandom posts are fan-tabulous! See Exhibit A :
Romione feels!
Now for...
DRAMIONE
This is my argument about why Dramione is not one of my ships. Again, please don't judge. This is my blog, you know.
Reason number one! I get that J.K Rowling said that the reason Draco bullied Hermione was because of his feelings for her. I get it! But the thing is that the books never gave a hint of those feelings, so when I first heard about Dramione I was like : What???
Please tell me one scenario in the books where Draco ever showed his feelings for Hermione. I mean it! If you have one scene where this happened please comment. Be my guest!
Enya is on a roll.
Reason number two! If Draco really loved Hermione he wouldn't have bullied her! Please! I don't care if his father wouldn't have approved and blah blah blah! I mean what kind of abusive, messed up relationship is this? Liking someone, then bullying them and hurting them! That's insane! You don't like someone and then call them racist names, and hurt them! That's common sense! Then there's the excuse that 'Draco had a reputation to uphold'. Again! If he really loved her then he would've forgotten his stupid reputation and actually shown her some respect!
Reason number three! Hermione would never love him back because he treated her and her friends like dirt! Yes, at the end they did eventually forgive him, but loving is another story. She loved Harry and Ron like family, and Draco bullied the both of them! Would you love someone who treated your family badly? No. Would you love someone who pretended you were an animal? No.
Bonus! Dramione is like Snilly, and we all know what happened with that.
To all Dramione shippers :
Now that I've ridiculed your ship, here's a Dramione edit to keep you happy :
Happy?
Thank you for this! I definitely agree. :)
